Doko Diocese is a thriving Anglican community situated in the heart of Doko, Niger State, Nigeria. Our church is dedicated to providing spiritual support, resources, and outreach opportunities to our congregation.​

Diocese of Doko was inaugurated on the 22nd of May 2009 by Archbishop Most Rev.Peter J.Akinola Primate of all Nigerian. The election of the first Bishop of Doko, Bishop Uriah N. Kolo took place at the Episcopal Synod held at Crowther Memorial Chapel, Lokoja on May 2009. He was consecrated on 12 July 2009 at St. Peter’s Church, Yenogoa, in Bayelsa State.

We belong to the province of Lokoja and we are located in Doko, Lavun Local government Area in Niger State, Nigeria. We proudly serve a diverse array of members within our congregation, ranging from families to individuals seeking spiritual guidance and community engagement. Our commitment is to foster a welcoming environment for all.

Vision

Our vision is to become one of the leading Diocese in the Church of Nigeria (Anglican Communion) in preparing manking for the second coming of Jesus Christ.

Mission

The diocese is focused on the following missions; Evangelism, Health Care, Education, A Caring Church, The Youths, Investment and Clergy. To which the Present Bishop Rt Rev’d Uriah N. Kolo is already achieving and building on the following; 1.The Youths 2.Education 3.Health Care.

Faith

Grounded in our Anglican tradition, we uphold the values of faith and spirituality, guiding our members in their personal journeys and collective worship.
